I will be leaving for an 8-day visit with my daughter's family in Alaska on the 29th of April. She lives in North Pole which is right next to Fairbanks so I will fly directly into Fairbanks.

We have been in touch via Skype so I have seen her grow and develop. She is now walking. She will be 1 in May.

I want to bring her some books to read to her. Any suggestions? What are your favorites to read to your young children?

As you know, I love giving away free samples. I love the Beehive Bra Clips and the skin care samples but I am looking for something new to give away after the skin care samples are gone.

Here's the deal, though. I want it to be flat enough to fit into a #10 business envelope and I don't want it to weight more than an ounce AND it needs to be interesting enough for people to ask for it.

Hey! here's a thought. I would gladly accept donations from businesses of small, useful items, like flat plastic 6 inch rulers with your business name on it, small note pads, information cards, like calculating...something. I have a card that is about the size of a business card that has calculations for fabric needed for making quilts.
